WLEOA Campground

Wisconsin Law Enforcement Officers Association Memorial Campground Since 1977
Our History
The Wisconsin Law Enforcement Officers Association had an early goal to establish a recreational area for use by its members and guests. As a result, in 1977 the Association purchased thirty (30) acres of land in Waupaca for a campground. The campground is located between Waupaca and New London on CTH KK just north of South 54. It has 1,100 feet of river frontage on the south branch of the Little Wolf River.

Amenities
Since its inception in 1977, members have put in many hours to clear and build the campground into a facility which sees increased attendance each year. There are pads for camping trailers and an area cleared for tent campers. Restrooms, showers, well, electricity including sites with 30amp electrical service are all located on the grounds. A pavilion with grill area, basketball court, and jungle gym provide recreational opportunities for campers and their families. Flotation tubes are available to allow for an enjoyable and leisurely ride down the Little Wolf River. All in all, the campground provides a great place for an overnight stay or just a day's outing.
Campground Use
The campground is available for use by WLEOA members and their guests at any time during the camping season which typically runs from beginning of May to the end of October. Large groups who wish to use the facility should check in advance with a campground committee member. Donations are accepted from campers and/or visitors to help maintain the grounds. The WLEOA board and it's officers are convinced this campground plays an important role in the positive physical and mental development of our young people and provides a relaxing haven for WLEOA members and their families.
DONATE TO THE WLEOA CAMPGROUND
